We understand that no two weddings are alike, that’s why we create an experience that is truly personal to you. Amongst our eight venue portfolio we have hand picked the most elegant spaces befitting such an occasion, including our three hat restaurant, est at Establishment and Sydney’s iconic Ivy.
Establishment is located in the heart of Sydney and only a few minutes walk from Sydney Harbour and the Opera House. Within the building there are three individually designed venues with interiors that pay tribute to the building’s Victorian past.
Previously George Patterson House, originally built in 1885, Establishment is steeped in historical character. The classic architecture includes high ceilings and grand columns, which have been juxtaposed against stunning contemporary interiors.
Weddings can be held in the grand main bar at street level, Peter Doyle’s elegant three hat restaurant est, or our specially designed Ballroom, streaming with natural light and panoramic city views.
Receptions held here have the benefit of The Establishment Hotel, a sublime suite of 29 boutique rooms plus 2 penthouses, as part of the facilities.
Establishment Main Bar
With its soaring ceiling, statuesque columns and 42 metre long marble bar running through the centre, the Main Bar creates an immediate and unforgettable impression.
Rich wood panelled entrance doors open to this spacious, grand reception area which flows through to the Gin Garden at the rear.
Here guests are transported to Sydney’s colonial past, with its indoor garden framed by the building’s original brickwork stretching skyward to an expansive glass ceiling – a perfect space for a dance floor or arrival drinks.

Peter Doyle’s 3 Chef’s Hat restaurant has been quoted by Vogue Dining (US) as the “World’s Best Hotel Dining Room”. Located on Level 1, est. is a perfect blend of sophistication and modernity.
The pressed metal Victorian ceiling panels and sentinel Corinthian columns remain star focal points, exuding quality and attention to detail to complement the sublime food from one of Australia’s master chefs.
This remarkable room provides a breathtaking setting for a reception of sheer elegance for up to 120 guests.
Establishment Ballroom
Located on Level 2 is the stunning Establishment Ballroom overlooking George Street and the Gin Garden. This versatile space, with floor-to-ceiling windows providing abundant natural light, is an ideal to create a room of signature style.
