Unlike traditional wedding planners, Girl Friday Weddings is NOT an all or nothing service. At Girl Friday Weddings you can use our wedding expertise and assistance as much or as little as you need or can afford. Choose from our many packages of bundled services or simply hire us by the hour.
Girl Friday Weddings is all about taking care of the many wedding details that can overwhelm brides. Our personal wedding assistants are happy to step in and help with anything at any stage of the planning process and for any amount of time.
For example, you may just need someone to coordinate your vendors on the day, chase down guests on the RSVP list, or deliver items to the reception.
The personal assistants at Girl Friday Weddings can do these little things (and more) without the commitment of end-to-end wedding planning. However, if you need help beyond just running errands, our wedding consultants are ready to offer you their professional opinions, advice and recommendations, as well as negotiate the best prices with the many vendors you need to contract.
To give you an idea of how helpful this is, consider one couple’s elopement at Whitsundays, where we took care of the wedding party travel arrangements, booked beauty appointments, scheduled dinner reservations, and negotiated with the resort for the wedding accommodations.
Our involvement left the bride free to enjoy not only her wedding day, but also the days leading up to the event, ensuring that she looked and felt her best when she met her groom at the alter.
The bride told us exactly what she needed done, and that’s all she paid for. In terms of wedding planning, she got exactly what she wanted.
Buying a Planning Package, which allows you to customise our time with you, is especially helpful if you’re getting married at a bespoke venue (where you simply rent the space, but it doesn’t come with staff) or you expect to do a portion of the planning yourself (regardless of where your ceremony takes place).
However, if you don’t want to be both bride and organiser on your big day day, you might want to consider one of our On The Day Coordination packages.

- Full Day – Day of Coordination Package: Ideal for couples hosting a big wedding or for those who need assistance with preparation and execution of the entire wedding day.
- Half Day – Day of Coordination Package: For couples confident about managing most of the wedding day themselves, but need a hand organising vendors and ensuring the finishing touches are in place.
- Mini – Day of Coordination Package: Perfect for the couple hosting a low-key wedding or those who need extra help with the smaller components of the wedding day, such as setting up reception halls, meeting vendors and guests at bespoke venues, or simply making sure guests know where they need to be before the ceremony and where they need to go after.
